A Few More A77 Specs

Sonyalpharumors has yet more A77 specs updates:

• 1200 zone metering
• Smart teleconverter function with 1.4x and 2.0x option
• Built-in GPS
• Battery life with over 500 shots

• ‘Smart teleconverter function’ will mean an in-camera cropping function; you get ‘telephoto’ by seeing less than the full 24MP of the sensor.
• I would guess this function is also necessary to achieve the 12 frames/second continuous shoot, which you’ll only get in one of these modes, not at the full 24MP. Other Sony Alpha such as the A35  work in a similar way.
