A77 Kits Start To Arrive In The UK

Some stores in the UK now have stocks of the A77 with 16-50 lens kit and are starting to ship them out. One lucky person has even got his. You can see how excited he is by the shaky camera in his unboxing video: (Thanks, Liam)

    I have a leica f/2 50 mm summicron collapsable lens. Is there an adapter for it to an A mount???
    Someone please answer!!

    What do u mean about the metering switch?

      On the A700 there way a metering mode switch. But I dont mind now because I have customized one of the buttons to do it. :)

    Don’t understand this, I’ve had mine since 24th Sept. but I do need to put on the 1.03 firmware update. They didn’t have the lens available at that time. Will have to check and see if they have arrived.

    Yes, what’s a metering switch?

    We’ve had our 1st SONY A77 for almost a month now. Our 2nd one arrived on Wednesday with the new SONY 16-50 lens.

    We have taken over 5,000 photos including 3 weddings and an engagement session. The photos are absolutely incredible! This camera works so fast that the photo is already showing on the LCD screen before your subject has finished saying “cheese”!

    The SONY 16-50 lens is razor sharp with excellent color and we highly recommend getting the full kit if your budget allows it. The camera and lens work extremely well together.

    Hi All

    I picked up mine yesterday at switzerland with the 16-50 lens and the additional video-screen. Just amazing this camera!
